I love to travel. I think it’s one of the most exciting things to do in life. Going to new places, experiencing different ways of living and different cultures can prove to be some of the most valuable lessons you can ever learn. Travel opens your mind, opens your eyes to other peoples lives and can make make you reassess your own. But most of all it’s fun! 😀
So as we are now entering the begining of 2013 my mind is now turning over where to holiday this year.
I have visited lots of different countries and plan on seeing the rest of world before I die!
Here are some of the places I have been:
USA – The USA is one of my favourite places in the whole world! Everything from the fantastically friendly people, the great service and the amazing food! My husband and I just love it.
I have been to Orlando, Miami and Las Vegas, and plan to see as much of this country as possible.
Caribbean – what can I say about the Caribbean, apart from chillax to the max! Some of the happiest people in the world live here and make you feel right at home! I have been to Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Dominica, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. St Thomas is my favourite of all the Caribbean islands I have been to and is such a beautiful place.
The Bahamas – the Bahamas is idyllic and literally heaven on earth.
Egypt – we stayed in Luxor and travelled to Cairo to see the pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley of the Kings and the Cairo Museum. Amazing, breath taking wonders of the world. Egyptology really interests me so it was fantastic to visit these places and see it all first hand.
Europe – France; Paris. Germany; Bavaria. Majorca; Palma. Austria; Innsbruck. Portugal; the Algarve- Villa Moura. Cyprus; Paphos. Some of the most fun I have ever had happened whilst being in these countries!
And of course the UK and Ireland. I have travelled all over the UK and Ireland extensively – England has been well and truly explored having stayed and holidayed in almost every part of it! Ireland has also been explored from top to bottom. I spent a lot of time in Southern Ireland when I was growing up as we have a lot of family living there in nearly every part. Scotland is visited every year, my family have a lodge in Loch Lomond and we have spent many a happy time there. As a child I holidayed with my family in Wales in a place called Pwllheli and it was lovely and very picturesque.
One thing my husband and I would especially like to do is to stay in New York during or leading up to Christmas. We have friends that have done this and they said it’s magical and just like stepping onto the set of a movie. Hopefully next year we will get to see the huge Christmas tree in Times Square(0:
So, all there is to do now is visit the rest of the world!
See you all soon (0:
